August 28th – 30th, 2026

Weekend Details

We’ve reserved an entire campground at Carter Lake in Loveland, Colorado for a full weekend of celebration, relaxation, and good company. The campground has room for up to 120 guests, divided across three sections — all of which are ours for the weekend. Each site includes electric and water hookups, so bring your RV, camper, or just your favorite tent setup.

Friday: Arrival & Cookout
Guests can start arriving on Friday to set up camp, settle in, and get comfortable. That evening, we’ll kick things off with a big group cookout featuring a mix of Colorado, Texas, and Buffalo barbecue — a nod to where we all come from and the flavors we love. Expect great food, cold drinks, and plenty of laughs as everyone settles in for the weekend.

Saturday: Ceremony & Celebration
Saturday will start slow and easy so everyone can enjoy the lake and the outdoors. The wedding ceremony will take place in the early afternoon, followed by a sparkling wine toast and a pig roast dinner served under a shaded pavilion. After dinner, the real celebration begins — an evening of dancing, drinks, games, and music that’ll carry well into the night.

Sunday: Farewell (or Stay Awhile)
Sunday morning will be a relaxed pack-up day. If you’d like to stay an extra night, you’re welcome to — just let Trinity know ahead of time.

This weekend is meant to feel like us — laid-back, outdoorsy, and filled with great people, good food, and endless laughter.

Our Story

It all started in Fort Collins—one broken leg, one karaoke night, and one overly confident guy who didn’t realize he was about to meet his future fiancée.

From wheelchair rides and Dorito pizza to long-distance FaceTimes and a beach proposal in Hawaii, their story has been equal parts unexpected and unforgettable.

    How We Met

    How We Met

Trinity went out with some friends to karaoke at the now-closed Irish Pub in Fort Collins. She had a broken leg at the time and was using a wheelchair. After being helped onto a bar stool, a bundled-up man walked in—Bryan. Trinity’s friend Cruz recognized him from somewhere and invited him to join their group. Bryan sat next to Trinity, and the two talked all night. He was a bit surprised when she was wheeled out in her chair at the end of the night, since it hadn’t come up in conversation.

    Round Two

A couple months later, Trinity crutched into the same bar and saw Bryan and Cruz again. Bryan waved her over, and she told her friends that the cute bartender she’d met two months earlier was working. She gathered up her courage, crutched over, and asked for his number. Bryan was happy to learn the wheelchair wasn’t permanent. Trinity left that night with his number and a few free drinks.

    Our First Date

    Our First Date

Their first date was at Los Tarascos for buy-one-get-one margaritas and dinner. Afterward, they bar-hopped around Old Town Fort Collins, stopping at Pinball Jones, an arcade bar where they discovered their shared competitiveness. They eventually made their way home and cooked the ultimate late-night meal: frozen pizza topped with Doritos. The next day, they watched movies all day while Bryan played Trinity music for hours.

    Recovery and Care

After months of dating but not yet being official, Trinity had another surgery. Bryan took care of her during recovery—bringing meals, helping her get around, and eventually meeting her mom for the first time.

    The Texas Trip

Bryan had been planning to move back to Texas around this time, but after meeting Trinity, he decided to invite her to visit instead. She flew down and spent an amazing week with him, meeting his parents, family, and childhood best friends. By the end of the trip, Trinity asked Bryan to be her boyfriend. He said yes, and they began a long-distance relationship.

    Back Together

Bryan moved back to Colorado and moved in with Trinity. They had spent the summer visiting each other, talking for hours on the phone, and watching movies together from afar. Once reunited, Trinity introduced Bryan to hiking and climbing. A few weeks later, they moved into their first home together—with Bryan’s full-sized Australian Shepherd, Hank.

    Their First Christmas

They celebrated their first Christmas together—Bryan’s first Christmas with Trinity’s family—and sent out their very first Christmas card as a couple.

    The Proposal

Bryan proposed to Trinity in Hawaii. He woke up early to prepare, while Trinity, not being a morning person, joined him a little later at the beach. Bryan gave a heartfelt speech and proposed. Trinity laughed, cried, and said yes. That evening, they celebrated with an incredible dinner overlooking the water.
